Once you have approved the design, we begin the production process. At our facility in Gorredijk, our skilled and qualified welders transform your ideas into high-quality products.
We customise the surface treatment of our products according to customer requirements. We can grind the surface to the desired roughness value and offer optional electro-polishing. These finishing processes, as well as pickling and passivation, are performed by trusted external partners with whom we have worked for many years.
After construction and surface treatment, the components are assembled in a dust-free area, similar to a cleanroom. This ensures that the product is clean and uncontaminated.
A critical component of any installation is its control system. This can be manually operated or fully automated. We work with trusted partners who supply control panels according to our specifications. Customer-specific software can be installed upon request to ensure the system is user-friendly.
When an installation is complete, a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) can be performed. The customer is invited to verify by means of a pre-established protocol that the product meets their requirements. We also offer CIP testing with our own CIP installation. Any remaining issues identified during the FAT will be rectified or adjusted before the product leaves our factory.
We can arrange the transport of your product. In most cases, we provide this ourselves, but for larger products or international destinations, we outsource transport to a professional carrier. We ensure that products are carefully packaged, using protective casing where necessary.
Our products can be designed for stand-alone use or integration with existing installations. We offer on-site installation, which can include fitting pipelines. We use orbital welding machines to guarantee perfect welds.
During the project, a manufacturing record book will be compiled, containing information about the product, such as welding logs, welding certificates and certificates for the materials and parts used. This provides comprehensive documentation of the entire product, including the production process and quality inspections, which are necessary for installation validation.
To prevent system malfunctions caused by incorrect use or wear and tear, we can provide instruction for the user upon delivery to help ensure the machine is always operated correctly. We also offer annual maintenance so that wear and tear on parts can be identified in good time and prevented. This service includes installation checks and the preventive replacement of wear parts, such as gaskets. Should a malfunction occur, you can call our emergency support, who will resolve the fault as quickly as possible.
Het Noorden is ISO-9001 certified, guaranteeing a reliable quality management system, with quality inspections and tests conducted throughout each project to ensure it meets quality standards. An important part of this is PED inspection for pressure vessels. The checks and measurements are recorded in the test and inspection plan, which is part of the manufacturing record book.
